Hope for Women-Uganda is Community Based Organization (CBO) founded in 2016 to address the rights of women and other marginalized groups of people i.e. orphans, teens mothers, disabled and street children.

At Hope for Women Uganda (HOWU), we are committed to creating a brighter future for women and girls. Established to amplify women’s voices, we serve as a platform for women to unite, share knowledge, and advocate for gender equality, economic empowerment, and social justice.

Our mission is simple yet impactful: to empower women and girls to realize their full potential by promoting sustainable development and creating equal opportunities. Through our programs, partnerships, and advocacy work, we strive to build a society where women can lead and thrive.

Hope for Women-Uganda having realized the need for promoting development in the rural communities, based on the existing forces of disintegration, moral and economic decay, poverty, and poor health conditions,

Recognizing our struggles against forces of injustices and marginalization, we are committed to the promotion and establishment of advocacy strategies based on research for women Rights Realization, Peace Building, Health Improvement, and assisting rural communities to

promote Economic and Civic Rights empowerment through a popular and durable organization based on the principle of social equity, equality and progressive justice for sustainable development,

Vulnerable mothers especially the young mothers pose specially development concerns at National and International Level because of their lack of basic pre-requisite resource endowments or abilities that would enable them to ordinarily participate in Development Efforts. As a result, they are in many cases marginalized or excluded from the benefit of economic growth and national development.
