VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Hope for Women Uganda embarked on vocational training in carpentry, tailoring, art and craft, basket weaving, knitting and mechanics to empower the vulnerable i.e. young mothers, widows and school drop outs. Through this project 425 beneficiaries have fully acquired skills in vocational skills in tailoring, knitting, basket making and art and craft. We received funds from Luana foundation

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION-ONE MILLION TREE PROJECT

Hope for Women Uganda also exercise tree planting as one way of overcoming disaster related to deforestation. We launched a project one million tree project in partnership with CODEA an environmental organization that works in Rwenzori region. We have supplied 260,000 seedlings of indigenous tree species in a period of 8 year. This project is for
3 years that will end in 2024.
